    It has been a while since I last visited to dine here and how pleasant this visit was. I was very cool to see how popping it was for a Friday night, I have not seen it as busy so that is great. Service has always been great, and was again. Their cocktails are always fabulous and this time was not exceptional. For dinner we had the three dips to start and this was a very large plate and was very tasty. For main we had the asparagus that was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. We had the whole Bronzino and again, this was perfectly cooked and the flavor was excellent. Certainly recommend, but do book if wanting to eat prior to 8, after that you can probably just walk in. Enjoy.

    Mega stars for character, personable staff, and rhythmic ambiance. Who doesn't love a classy, retro, and fun bar lounge? Considering it was New Year's Eve, Spoonbar was open and a beautiful spot to go out with friends before the ball dropped. They have cocktails and mocktails for us NA drinkers. The presentation was tops and the friendly staff was even better -- the bartender even took our group photo. I will be back again to explore the plethora of items on their menu. What's not to love!

    We chose SpoonBar this year for Christmas dinner. It was a good choice. We were seated at a nice table in the larger dining area and lucked out with having Marci as our server. Holiday decorations were simple and lovely. The Christmas Day menu offered choices of both appetizer and entree, with a buffet of desserts to end the meal. We got to try all the desserts! The bartender made me a perfect Sazerac for starters. Both the hamachi and the chicory salad were quite nice. I enjoyed the beef and my daughter enjoyed the halibut. Good choices. The highlight was our server. Marci was attentive without hovering, she was professional and warm. I appreciate her and the rest of the staff for working on the holiday so others could dine out.     We love Spoonbar! Returned last week with friends. They offered our party of 6 a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. We chose outdoor and they brought over a few heat lamps to keep us cozy (it's been cool at night lately!). Service was attentive throughout our night; it always is! We started with: -Brussels sprouts - a large portion, perfectly crisped and always a flavorful hit -octopus - my friends enjoyed this -pork belly bites - they loved these too For mains: -sole with lobster risotto - two of us ordered this and we each licked our plate clean -burger with truffle fries - three ordered burgers and all loved theirs (it's a fave of mine too! And those thin truffle fries are divine!) -tofu with broccoli - the new summer vegetarian option; my friend really enjoyed this but wished it was a firmer tofu. We were all impressed by the bounty of vegetables she received and how vibrant and fresh it looked. What makes Spoonbar stand out in my opinion? The food is always colorful and appealing to the eye, as well as oh-so-flavorful. I love the Pickled shallots they incorporate! Everything is fresh and seasonal and inspired and delicious! And the cocktails are creative and tasty too! Make a reservation and enjoy!
